Anita M. Lane, 89, of Sheridan, passed away on Friday, August 17, 2018, at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 30, 1929, in Seattle, WA, to Claude and Gertrude (Paige) Faulconer. She attended schools in eastern Washington and high school in Bothel, WA.
In March of 1952, she married Levi D. Lane in Seattle, WA. Levi was on his way to Korea at the time. After his return from overseas they resided at various locations including the Panama Canal Zone. On her husbands retirement the settled in Sheridan, WY.
Anita was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Michele, husband Levi, one brother and one sister. She is survived by her son, Lee (Jean) Lane of Laramie, WY, daughter Charlene Dillon of Sheridan, WY, Joe Dillon of Whitehall, MT, four grandsons, Adam Dillon, Nathan (Taylor) Dillon, Michael Lane, Ryan Lane, four granddaughters, Kelli Dillon, Laura (Mark) Ballesteros, Aimee (Dan) Miachkov, Ashley (Matt) Gern, two great granddaughters, Nicole, Samantha, three great grandsons, Joey, Liam and Levi.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 30, 2018, at Holy Name Church with Father Glenn Whewell officiating with a reception to follow in the parish hall. Inurnment will be held in the Custer Battlefield Cemetery at 2:00 on Thursday, August 30, 2018.
