“A” Coach Victor Rodriguez

With new colors, new uniforms, a larger schedule, and of course, a new league… the Buffalo Bulls will open the season this Sunday at Prosinski Park.

Adam Teten is one of the organizers for the program in Buffalo and spoke of the return of American Legion baseball to Buffalo…

According to Teten, moving from the Babe Ruth system made sense as more and more cities are adopting the American Legion baseball as it is provides a higher level of competition.

It also provides more exposure to high school players who harbor thoughts of playing college baseball…

There will be two teams for Buffalo this season, an under 19 “A” team and an under 16 “C” team.

According to Teten, fan support has been impressive as the teams prepare for the opening season on Sunday.

In total, there will be 22 home games for the Bulls this season, certainly an impressive number in comparison to past years…

The “A” team will play Powell in a doubleheader beginning at noon this Sunday.
