The account executives at each Radio and Digital Center must possess a wide range of skills and have the ability to perform within certain standards.  In order to achieve the challenging goals, set forth in this year and beyond, Account Executives will be required to evolve their skills in specific areas of selling.

Each individual will be further evaluated on the following:


  1. Sales Competence

The ability to probe in order to uncover clients’ emotional needs, listen to clients’ problems and ideas, and create or develop solutions to these problems while maintaining the integrity of the station’s objectives and goals.


  1. Technical Competence

An understanding of all marketing and advertising statistics, measurement and methodologies, research and the definitions of industry terms and how to use them.


  1. Conceptual Competence

Creatively blending the facts and figures into a compelling story of how the station excels as an advertising and marketing vehicle.


  1. Commitment & Desire

The nature of success, winning and achievement assumes excellence of performance.  Excellence requires intense commitment.  Desire to win and win right!
