The Johnson County Commissioners renewed its juvenile probation agreement with the Volunteers of America at its meeting last week.

Duncan reported that VOA had managed 36 juveniles on diversion in 2016 and had supervised 419 drug tests with only 16 testing positive.
The cost of the drug court portion of the agreement is $41,900 which is covered by the OJJDP grant and $54,000 for juvenile probation management.
