The Buffalo City Council passed resolution 1437, setting the amount of optional 1% taxes to be allocated to organizations not directly managed by the city or the Joint Powers Board.
An amount not to exceed $250,000 was set, which is approximately 18% of the city’s budget, a percentage slightly less than last year.
The vote was 4 to 1 with Councilman Dan Hart voting no.
