Sheridan College held a “normal” graduation ceremony on Saturday for 200 graduates.

Dr. Walter Tribley, President of the Northern Wyoming Community College District, told the graduating seniors that the ceremony was only the “beginning” of future challenges and adventures that lie ahead.

The commencement address was given by Jen Crouse, Vice-President of Student Affairs, and shared her story of how a traffic accident nearly cost her life at the age of 16.

Crouse is wheelchair-bound and told the graduates that through the tragedy she was able to find her inner fire to move forward and succeed.

She challenged the graduates to find their own “inner fire” as they begin their life adventures.
