NEWCASTLE, Wyo. (AP) — The Wyoming Department of Corrections says two inmates have escaped from a minimum security facility.

The agency says inmates Jason Green and Robert Simpson were found missing from the Wyoming Honor Conservation Camp in Newcastle at 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

Green is serving a sentence for larceny. He was sentenced in 2015 to three to eight years.

Simpson is serving a sentence for aggravated burglary with a weapon. He was sentenced in 2012 to five to 15 years.

It is believed that Simpson left the facility with a black lab mix dog.

Authorities believe that the two may be traveling in a stolen City of Newcastle work truck. Anyone who sees the truck is urged to contact authorities.
